Seasons . . .

Happy May 1st everyone!

Is it football season yet?

We’ve gone from raking and clearing the lawn to searching for our snow shovels.  Temperatures dropped, roads are closed (in some areas) and the wind is howling and the snow is swirling – this is the view from our open doorway showing the little snowdrift that has settled against the door.  You can also see the new snow banks that weren’t there on Saturday morning.

Our sidewalk is to the right hand side of the tree trunk . . . so is the green grass!

Waiting, waiting, waiting for football . . .

My son lives in the Upper Peninsula and he has the same thing. Is spring ever going to come. Hugs.

Wow. We were wondering just how Wawanesa faired with the storm. Hopefully the snow will melt slowly and not impact the flood situation too greatly. A from northern Manitoba where we are enjoying sunshine and watching the last remnants of snow melt. The lakes probably won't be open by the May long weekend though. Take care.

Yikes! That is not what May 1 is supposed to look like! I do hope it melts away quickly without causing any more hardship. Oh and by the way, it is not football season! The boys of summer are due to make an aoppearance, first!
